How can I reset everything and start again from scratch?
There is 2 different tasks you can use that resets match history and one for ratings.
under tasks, not plugins
so Settings, Tasks, Plugin Tasks, Ascension xxx
theres also a plugin that adds right cick, to the settings cog, so you can run plugin tasks from there,. sorry do not recall name but should be easy to find

1.1RC has just dropped.
I will do a deeper dive in the releases section in the next RC (or release if Im happy with it) detailing all the changes in great length. Im too tired to do it today, its been a day for sure. Just wanted to drop this off and let yall play with it while I get some much needed rest.
The last thing I want to do before this comes out for real for real is fix the match selection for gauntlet\champion mode because it irritates the shit out of my in its current iteration.

another suggestion: is there a way to battle among certain categories of performers? e.g. having blondes in my database battle against each other, having latinas battle, etc.
i think this was actually the behavior in one of the versions prior to 1.1. if i had a filter on the performers page (e.g. blondes) and clicked ascension, it would be just blondes battling

You are right to notice this. The feature existed as a shadow feature before. I ripped it out in lieu of something i plan on adding to the next update and tbh i didnt think anyone was even using it in its current state. My solution intends to be more defined and less invasive cliebt side.
Not to mention its implementation caused fatal errors within stash itself using the tag system which made me waste our lord and savior withoutpants time before i discovered what the issue is.
But what I can tell you right now is that a replacement is coming, along with something else people will be happy with. I just need time.

You can find all information related to the changes in there but I do want to level with you guys as there is some stuff behind the scenes I feel like I should mention.
My dog is pretty sick right now and Im starting to run out of funds to support me and him. I was laid off by a certain cloud company doing SRE work for 7 years contributing all kinds of shit they still use today for that bullshit company and I have been searching ever since. Even though I have continued to get certifications, search for jobs everyday like its a job itself, and make it to multiple 3 round interviews (including spaceX), it has been for naught.
This has gone on way longer than I have expected and is the longest time I have ever been unemployed. I have been surviving solely off savings this entire time but its getting pretty grim. I will never pay wall my time, or any of the contributions I have made ever and have never really asked for anything like this ever in my life. Not even once. But if you guys want to throw a few pennies in my direction it would help alot. Even though I have pet insurance they constantly come up with excuses not to pay his bills.
His 9th birthday was just last sunday, and we celebrated with a hike. I have a buy my coffee link if anyone wants to help. Im more concerned about his situation more than my own tbh as Ive had him since he was a puppy. So mentally im just in a dark place right now with having no purpose, being in a new state with no friends or family, and obviously no income. This plugin and my other plugins have given me purpose for now, but it is hard.
Anyways, sorry to sob story, just wanted to be real with you guys about whats really going on. In the risk of doxing here is a picture of him. This isnt a grift or anything, just some real words of (slight) desperation.

Version 1.2.5RC1 just dropped in beta. It adds scene rating and a metric dashboard to stats stash page. You can see some screenshots here.. Make sure to update your manifest, I will be retroactively decomming the old repos later this week. Snapshot your DB once on the version.

What does “[Ascension] Extremely unlikely scenario in Swiss pairing, using basic random fallback.” mean? Has something gone wrong? It also put a F tier and a S tier against each other in “head to head mode (Swiss?) i thought s tier was limited to b tier?
That is pretty much the last fall back mechanism due to it not being able to satisfy match criteria. Meaning something is going on with what you are trying to match. S tier IS limited to b tier and higher, but the final fallback uses complete random so the user still gets a match.
You really shouldnt be seeing this scenario at all, so something is up.
What is your pool count
What gender are you matching.
What are your tier sizes
How many of your performers are on cool down (estimate)
That’ll help me determine whats happening.
Appreciate it, here is the total amount, its only showing performs which i’ve set to female which is correct.

This is what i expected. Matchmaking cant satisfy requirements because of your aggregated pools weight which is too low. Tiers have an aggregated weight value for the array to perform a selection. If the tiers weight drops below a certain value it is not selected. Since all your tiers weight aggregation is low, the array cant select, so it should fall back to ‘any’ but since all your performers weight are low this secondary fall back fails and then falls back on the final which is random.
To be honest there should already be a lever to prevent this which is to reset all performers weights when a certain threshold is crossed but that might be getting superceded by the weight calculation itself. A better solution is to apply a capped booster when the aggregated pool falls below a certain threshold and notify the user through the event log.
Thanks for letting me know about this. I have a build thats set to come out later this week anyway to address some performance issues so ill include that in the next update.
