I have several idea to clean up some of the excessive tagging that we have on scenes.
One example is to remove the “Threesome” tag if “Threesome - BGG” or “Threesome - BBG” or any other variation exist. same for hair color and other tags. Is this something that I can build an deploy as a bot to stashdb or is that just controlled by admins for now? If by admins, why not do it already and make it run all the time.
If your argument is that “Threesome” might be important tag for filtering. then my argument still stands. Add Threesome tag to all the threesome subtags. it is all or nothing!
I roughly agree but stash-box has no concept of sub-tags, so this would ruin existing flows that rely on info from stash-box.
I would keep both tags myself there is no reason not to give the users more options.
Having a bot that goes the other way is something that would be worth doing.
I have the misc-tags plugin mainly to fix some of these on submission so if we have the “Threesome” tag and we know the gender of all performers automatically add the “Threesome (BBG)” as needed.
There are some tags you could always apply to some studios so we know what are the Virtual Reality studios or the step family studios that should get the “Family Roleplay” tag etc.
