For date filtering I would suggest using the same YYYY-MM-DD format as stash-box uses as right now it requires mental gymnastics to convert to the requested format.

Oh yeah, I defaulted to the datepickers because I forgot to account for partial dates! The date input is now a clone of the one stash-box itself uses, just a plain text field with a bit of validation

This also means Explorer now supports partial dates
