3. Although this app has been updated from version 0.3 to 1.0, it still has some issues, such as automatic scanning, scraping, and generation. I know there are plugins that can solve these problems. However, I use a Linux PC, which is the best way to store a large number of videos. But the Python functions of the plugins are too difficult for users, or they may cause bugs on non-standard Linux PCs. It’s very difficult for an open-source project to make adaptations for this. Additionally, the plugin Local Visage originally ran within the app, but after an update, it requires users to deploy and install some Python functions by themselves. Even though I followed the requirements, bugs still occurred. The plugin requires Python 3.10.11, but my Python version is 3.12.0. Of course, I can install a version management tool for Python, but it may cause errors on my non-standard Linux PC, and it’s not certain that I can get the same Python version as the developers. Moreover, different plugins may require different Python versions, which is very troublesome.
