Reflective Desire

Domain: ReflectiveDesire .com
Access: Public

CommunityScraper: ReflectiveDesire

Affected Studios Stash ID:

Metadata Access:
Nearly all metadata is public, however the site frequently removes videos and performers and changes performers names. So the date convention becomes more important to use with internet archive.

Metadata Conventions:

Title:
Title is as is on the site, only title edits have been associated with performer name changes.

BTS:
The studio will often include short BTS scenes on the same page as the scene. It would be annoted as ‘Title (BTS)’

Date:
The data must be calculated by hand as the scraper will return ‘01’ for every day. Using ‘reflectivedesire.com/####’ where #### is the year. Find the month of video release (stated in the description) and count up from clips (if present) up through videos to the scene in question and that becomes the day.

Example, if there are 2 ‘clips’ and 5 ‘videos’ for the month in question and the video was the last one released it would be YYYY.MM.07. The first ‘video’ would be YYYY.MM.03 since there were 2 clips released that month.

This is due to the fact that the studio often removes scenes or splits them. It is the only way to track releases.

Studio URL:
The URL is always reflectivedesire .com/videos/title-slug

Studio Code:
The scraper is set to return the title slug as the studio code. The code also corresponds to the imagesets.

Scene Desciption:
Included on the scene page, it will include some tags. The studio frequently changes descriptions.

Performers:
Performers are typically identified by first names on scenes.

i.e. Chuck = Chuck Fairie, Heavy = Heavybondage4life

Name changes are frequent.
The studio also uses 2 unidentified male performers that remain in full latex and are thus unidentifiable.

Cover Image:
Is returned from the scraper.

Edit Comments:
The studio will periodically split scenes into two or more scenes.
