Reflective Desire

Domain: ReflectiveDesire.com
Access: Public

CommunityScraper: ReflectiveDesire

Affected Studios Stash ID:

Metadata Access:
Nearly all metadata is public, however the site frequently removes videos and performers and changes performers names. So the date convention becomes more important to use with internet archive.

Metadata Conventions:

Title:
Title is as is on the site, only title edits have been associated with performer name changes.

BTS/Clips:
The studio will often include short BTS scenes on the same page as the scene. (Now as standalone too.) It would be annoted as ā€˜Title (BTS)’ or ā€˜Title (Clips)’.

The studio will change cataogries often so please try to use an archive if looking back further. See these two links, the clips from Jan/Feb were converted to bts and one was deleted.

Date:
The data must be calculated by hand as the scraper will return ā€˜01’ for every day. Using ā€˜reflectivedesire.com/####’ where #### is the year. Find the month of video release (stated in the description) and count up from clips (if present) up through videos to the scene in question and that becomes the day.

Example, if there are 2 ā€˜clips’ and 5 ā€˜videos’ for the month in question and the video was the last one released it would be YYYY.MM.05. The first ā€˜video’ would be YYYY.MM.01 since there were 2 clips released that month, clips do get released in later months to repeat for clips, seperate from scenes.

This is due to the fact that the studio often removes scenes or splits them. It is the only way to track releases.

Studio URL:
The URL is always reflectivedesire.com/videos/title-slug

Studio Code:
The scraper is set to return the title slug as the studio code. The code also corresponds to the imagesets.

Scene Desciption:
Included on the scene page, it will include some tags. The studio frequently changes descriptions.

Performers:
Performers are typically identified by first names on scenes.

i.e. Chuck = Chuck Fairie, Heavy = Heavybondage4life

Name changes are frequent.
The studio also uses 2 unidentified male performers that remain in full latex and are thus unidentifiable.

Cover Image:
Is returned from the scraper.

Edit Comments:
The studio will periodically split scenes into two or more scenes.

They are terrible. Started creating new BTS from clips and purging again.

@Eleniat - I want to add the video ā€˜Upsy Daisy’. The problem is that it first appeared in Nov 2025 2025 - Reflective Desire as the first video. However, it is now under June 2025.

I want to add it under Nov ā€˜25, but it would require having to change the dates of the existing 4 videos that are under Nov to be one day ahead.

What’s your opinion on this? Seeing as you’re probably the most active for RD.

That is a good question. I’ve seen it a few times before when they move stuff around. They are utterly terrible at keeping things consistent.

Personally, this is a case where I would leave the day off and say what you said and give it 2025-06. They added it to Nov initially then moved it to June.

Stash is kinda funny you can always make this older but not often newer. Given that the current lineup still has it in June it seems like a safe slot till the next shuffle.

The other option is to give it 2025-06-06 with the same reason, it’s breaks the order because it’s original was Nov + your link, so technically it is sixth. Now that I think about it, this is probably the safest way to handle it.

From the last time I edited the main post, Nov '25 it looks like this scene was ā€˜released’ last time they did a shuffle and I missed it’s move.

I poked it some more. It looks like it was there for a week or less. Prior to that it was actually in October. So I am going to say June as the final answer.

Thanks, I added it as 6th June. It really is a mess with how they add and reorganise videos.

I’m attempting to currently organise what I have from them and there’s many missing and out of order videos and photos. I wish they remained consistent.

I can give you a little help in that regard. Since they published a full copy of their site in 2022 as an official way to rebuild it they published the json’s of that time. It’s part of the reason why Day = Scene order is so helpful. They literally just add scenes to a list and call it a day.

I changed them all to txt files to upload them. But it has you set up to May 2022, only reason I’ve not gone back and corrected all the entries is because of time. I have all the data. It even tells you which image is the cover image for images.

I want to say they did it in 2019, 2020 and 2022 but I’ve been unable to find where I stuck the prior ones.

For those who come after, I managed to find them on the Internet Archive, so far as long as they last.

2022:

This is the ā€˜not .torrent’ file that I can’t upload that is linked above.

It existed, but I don’t have it saved anymore.

Okay, I can do a little bit more than just ā€˜a bit’, here is all the references for as far back as I can go from offical distributions.

Thanks for that! I didn’t know that the 2021 and 2019 archive existed.

I downloaded the 2022 one, but I re-ordered some content based on their ā€œnewerā€ order, as they added / removed / moved stuff when I was going thru to see what I had / what I was missing.

Thankfully now that I have everything downloaded, it’s a lot better / easier.
