One-Click Reset/Wipe Metadata for a Scene (or 2 clicks w/ Confirmation prompt)

Describe the feature you’d like

A button on the Edit Tab for Scenes that with automatically wipe all the metadata for that scene.
Title, URLs, Dates, Performers, Details, etc.

(and if there’s a way to distinguish it, delete Pulled Scene covers but leave Generated covers)

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing users

Sometimes scenes are not Identified correctly and we need to go in and manually identify them, perhaps using a different or more specific Scraper. This way we avoid some fields not being overridden with new data and now containing erroneous Metadata.

Is there an existing way to achieve this goal?

Currently have to manually go into each text field and Delete the contents of the Title, Studio Code, Date, Director, and Description, click the red ‘-’ to delete each URL, and then click the ‘X’ to clear the fields for Studio, Performers, Tags. Also Generate a new default cover.

Additional context

Fixing incorrectly identified scenes is a part of the process, but it would be great to save some time and ensure proper sanitation of bad metadata by having a ‘One-Click’ option to clean out the metadata from the incorrect identification.

Agree that this would be a good feature to have. It could probably be implemented in a plugin, as a lighter weight way to add it than implementing in core stash.

Another workaround I’ve used is to delete the scene entry (don’t check the box to delete files!!) and then re-scan the relevant directory.
