Mature.nl - Reissued content

I don’t know if the StashDB curators of MatureNL pay any attention here, but a cursory glance of this publishers content shows they’ve been reissuing a lot of old content… many years old in some cases.

What’s a reissue?

You probably already know, but just for clarity, it’s a popular umbrella term when a publisher (e.g. studio, distributor, production company, etc.) releases previously published content regardless of who the prior publisher was.

What that means for StashDB?

Not much, other than applying any of the reissue tags is applicable here. Last I was aware StashDB used redistribution and rerelease tags.

Reissue indicators

Anything that looks old (film grain, aspect ratio) or AI upscaled (unnatural amount of smoothing) especially on the publisher’s cover image, is an indicator that it might be a reissue imo.

There’s definitely recurring reissues of DFB content, which can be found on IAFD. But there’s also content from smaller lesser known publishers, which cannot be found on IAFD.

If a scene contains Joachim Kessef, Franco Roccaforte, or Carlos Valdez (dead since 2022), it’s 99.99% a reissue.

Some of these reissued scenes look like “extended cuts”. Either way, the scene duration isn’t going to be a helpful indicator if you’re using it as a determining factor.
