I might be missing something but how can I make a an auto play funtion that simply jumps to the next marker in the filtered marker list based on endtimes. Is this a a feature? What are we using end times for at the moment? Seems obvious so I guess if its not a feature , there is a technical reason for that. We would have themed auto compilations with that of it though (Maybe add music). I get the next marker would need to preloaded for smooth transitions but that wpuld be aeesome.
Right now the end time in the marker is used for playing it looped (in the open scene, markers tab there is a link “loop”… I didn’t see that for two years lol). But you are right that there is potential for more features.
As for solutions I think one thing that would be relatively simple to implement is that in the markers view it automatically would create a queue when you click any marker. Similar to how it does it in the scene view.
That at least would make jumping between markers as simple as clicking “next”. But as always, somebody else already thought of this and there is already a ticket open for this. Let’s hope withoutpants can get around to finishing it.
I would suggest to add a bounty but that system was cancelled last year.
