Not sure if this will be helpful for anyone, but Machofucker (studio) has an awful website with certs expired 2 years ago, making navigating and searching for scenes really tough. There’s also no search function on site, making finding scenes a bit painful.
I’ve scraped the website for its scenes and performers, and while the data it provides isn’t great, it’s data from the studio website including scene names, descriptions and performers. Here’s the spreadsheet so you don’t have to access the website with errors about the certs being expired.
Update: I’ve fallen down quite the rabbit hole of release dates. This studio rereleases the same scenes over and over again since 2015 when the site was redesigned. Investigating wayback machine alternatives now for a cleaner spreadsheet (at least for scenes, as performers don’t change at least).
You are a good among men! I’ve got a literal fuckton of MF scenes with 0 metadata on them, except title derived from the scene title. I can’t imagine just how long it took to get that spreadsheet in order.
Thanks dude! With Python and Beautiful Soup, it was an evening’s worth of work. These are only applicable to the rereleases, so if you have HD/mp4 scenes, these should work. If you’ve got the older wmv/mpg/avi extension scenes, then gimme another day and I’ll have the original scenes and their publish dates from the Wayback machine. I’ve got 2007 nearly fully scraped, and then I’ll increment/decrease the year from there. I’ll pop another sheet in the spreadsheet for older scenes.
Final update: scraped as much as I can from The Wayback Machine. The spreadsheet now has releases from 2006 to early 2013 (from the old design, plus reference links), in addition to the latest results from 2013 to date. Enjoy and good luck!
