Looking for plugin

Is there any way someone could make a simple plugin that updates the tag name with the parent tag(s) before it in a sort of path or hierarchical nature. For example imagine having brown as a tag under eyes, this works, however when choosing the hair color or maybe skin tone this tag wont work anymore. So this plugin would make the specific tag needed. “performer.face.eyes.brown” And “performer.Head.hair.brown” …

Seems fairly eassy.

What about tags with multiple parents? Skip those?

Do you want it on all tags and update them as you edit / add more tags, or just a manual job on those tags you want this on.

That’s good to hear lol, lets keep it that way

@DogmaDragon We should definitely have this page featured.(or something similar) So people can vote on and post their ideas.

I’m going to try and pad this out. I’m not quite sure of the use case, and utility for others yet. So I am 100% open to alterations and ideas by anyone.

For now I’m thinking vague and yeah, skip with multiple parents. Otherwise maybe certain parent tags are marked not to be included?

I was thinking, using performer tags for demonstration, there would be a main tag name hierarchy something objective, e.g. anatomy/phenotype/bodyMods etc… then the user can attach those attributes(tags) to their subjective category/archetype(parent tags that aren’t marked to be in the tag name).

It needs to be a manual task that stash auto adds/updates the tag name.

Overall, I hope this plugin would alleviate/band-aid the stash limit of 3 nested layer for the meantime. So it would be essential to be able to sort by these tag names. Like a sort name in ‘Custom tag manager’. Having this true tag name be hidden and the alias be displayed (more common names: ‘Blue Eyes’ > Performer.Iris.blue) Is more practical and still allows for advanced searching or tag exporting. Is it possible to have multiple true tag names with all the parent tag links? like tag ID=00000 = [various paths the tag is a child to]?

Hmm, im not sure i’d use it personally. “Blue Eyes” and “Blue Hair” is enough for me.

Maybe someone else will pick it up. But at best i think you’d end up with a hacky solution that only very few people would use and would not be compatible with any stash box.
