Is it possible to disable the new Auto Tag Warning?
I use the auto tag option in the performer pages all the time, I also sort all my files into performar directories with makes auto tagging very efficient.
Now I’ve got a warning every time I want to use this feature but I see no option in settings to disable this warning.
You can bypass the warning by using API, but no way to disable it in the UI. The warning was very intentional as it can be easily misclicked, but I’m not sure if disabling it in the settings was given any consideration. @Gykes thoughts?
I get that auto tag can be “dangerous” and that is why I stopped using it at a global level, but I still find it very useful to do it at a performer level when I know the performer name is unique.
I could add a “Don’t show me this again” style checkbox similar to other programs that use warnings. I didn’t put any thought to people actively wanting to skip the warning but I’m not against adding in the option to skip it.
I’ve got muscle memory now from clicking OK, but a “don’t show me this again” would be nice to see at some point if poss.
