And does adding an account send information about what the server contains to stashdb or does it simply read the database and store it locally?
You only send the fingerprints you submit and edits you submit. This is effectively a list of your submissions but completely optional. This is the only “send information” option
It’s not possible to delete your own account at the moment, but admins can do it for you if requested.
Presumably if you scrape by fragment it also sends those phashes?
