Hi folks. After discussion with the other org members, effective from the start of February I’m increasing my billed hourly rate to the project by USD$2/hour to USD$32/hour, roughly in line with local inflation since the $30 rate was set in 2023. At the current average amount of hours billed per month, this amounts to an increase of around $100 to monthly developer costs, which our budget should safely allow for.

Money well spent and well deserved and I’m sure if you would like to implement some sort of scheduled annual review, that everyone would support that too. I did first read that as your existing fee was USD$2/hour and panicked that you’d been shorted for so long!
While I’m currently between jobs and money is incredibly tight, as soon as I’m back on my feet, I intend on continuing my support for this project in a much more tangible way ($$$). For now, however, the best I can do is offer you my heartfelt thanks to you and the whole team for your work and dedication.
