Over the years I have a few hundred videos downloaded from various places and that have atrocious filenames like document1234 etc, some are just from random people on Pornhub or Onlyfans etc.
Some are actual scenes from actual places like Brazzers or Kink but I don’t know the performers or scene names which may or may not be in actual DB’s.
Part of me doesn’t really want to just dump them in my main stash instance,
How would you go about organising them?
I do these in small batches at a time, maybe 10 files or so per go. Just make a new folder like “Incoming” or something like that, then do a Selective Scan on just that folder, and only generate phashes to start. Hopefully it finds a match for the scenes in StashDB. Then you can use the renamerOnUpdate plugin to rename the file to your liking. Once that’s done, you can organize it however you organize files in the rest of your stash. Just remember to do another Selective Scan on the directories where you move the files to so they get linked up again properly.
If you don’t get a phash match in StashDB, then your work is cut out for you… There is a Pornhub scraper, so hopefully whatever you used to download from Pornhub had the id in the file name. If so, it’s pretty easy to get that metadata. For Onlyfans you’ll have to use the sister site FansDB to look for those and you might not have as much luck, but that’s where I’d start with that.
