Lately, when I add scenes to Stash, it creates a lot of @thumbnail files, all with the following prefixes: adefault, s800, and a100. I did tick for Stash to create thumbnails and thought that was the problem. I have unchecked it, and they are still being created. The thumbnails it seems are being kept in a hidden folder that I can’t view anywhere.
At the same time, when the new scenes are chosen with the ‘Created’ filter, they no longer have the file name visible; instead,it is shown as ‘Untitled Scene’
For info this is Stash running in Qnap froma Qnap repository. It has now been running fine for 2 years +
“@thumbnail” is being created by qnap, not stash
Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. This is relevant as I have just installed the Multimedia console and asked it to create thumbnails. However I have not included the folders where my Porn is stored, only my personal photographs.
I need to investigate further, for now I will turn off thumbnail creation. I will also consider using an alternative app for my Photos, although this will most likely need me to use Docker containers which I find incredibly fiddly to set up. QNAP do have a a native Photoprism app so I might persevere with that.
Do you have any suggestions as to why, when new scenes are chosen with the ‘Created’ filter, they no longer have the file name visible; instead, it is shown as ‘Untitled Scene’
Sorry I’m not sure. Never seen it happen before on my own instance
