  3. Reload the available plugins if necessary.
  4. Install Group Cover for the platform running your Stash instance.

Updates published by the source will appear in Stash’s plugin manager.

Release ZIP

  1. Download the archive for your platform from the latest GitHub release.

    Available archives include:

    group-cover-darwin-amd64.zip
    group-cover-linux-arm64.zip
    group-cover-linux-amd64.zip
    group-cover-windows-amd64.zip
    group-cover-freebsd-amd64.zip

  2. Create a group-cover directory inside your Stash plugins directory.

  3. Extract the archive into that directory:

    plugins/
    └── group-cover/
        β”œβ”€β”€ group-cover
        β”œβ”€β”€ group-cover.yml
        β”œβ”€β”€ group-cover.js

  4. On macOS or Linux, make the executable runnable:

    chmod +x group-cover

  5. In Stash, open Settings β†’ Plugins and select Reload Plugins.

The default plugin directory is the plugins directory beside the Stash configuration file. Your configured plugin path may be different.

How to use

  1. Open a group that has child groups with front images.
  2. Click the camera button next to the group cover.
  3. Choose a layout and adjust the aspect ratio, gutters, colors, and corner style.
  4. For Grid, select one of the generated arrangements.

Nice. It is purely being generate with CSS and JS? No python required?

FR: Could we just not make it from Group > Scene? Instead of having to do: Group > Subgroup > Scene requirement

That’s not exactly as nice as only CSS/JS, no python is required only because it’s done in Go. The price to pay is that you need to pick the right compiled version for your platform.
The primary intent for the plugin was for movie series to create a collage of the different covers, but I guess I could just add for a regular group from the scenes’ β€œcovers” too.
