Failed to mod scene

I got a fail on my edit and don’t know what to make of it.

Edit application failed:

Unknown Error: Error creating SceneURL: pq: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "scene_urls_scene_id_url_key"
StashBot

was the comment form StashBot. Does anyone know how to get around this?

This is program error speak for “Scenes can’t have the same URL twice”.

It looks like somehow you managed to create an edit that adds a URL that is already present on the scene, which shouldn’t be possible normally via the web UI I believe.

To get around this, I’d suggest redoing the changes in another edit, without the redundant URL addition.

I don’t think that’s right. I have some scenes with the same url and it makes sense in general (e.g. additional content may have the same url as the main content)

Maybe url+scene ID need to be unique?

New try

I am trying it again. It might be because the scene has a iwantclips link that is recognized as “studio”. I removed it this time and change it to the same link but listed as “iwantclips”

Ah I see, so with the previous edit the scene would have had two identical URLs (with different type). Interesting, seems like a bug that this did not show an error sooner.
