I have a folder that is causing the database malformed error in my stash instance. The only thing I could find in the docs on it was talking about backup / recovery. It recommends to contact support but also to possibly try exporting and importing. However, when I went to export I got a “metadata path must be set in config” error.
So I guess two questions, how to best troubleshoot / resolve my malformation error and also how to set that metadata path? Thanks!

Can you provide a bit more information about this? Under what circumstances are you getting this error? Where is your database file located?
I tried to combine a bunch of photos (~11k) into one windows explorer folder and all but 2.5k or so disappeared. All of these photos were in the stash database and the missing photos were still available in stash somehow. I decided to clean the stash database and not combine the photos into the same folder, at that point I got this error. The affected folder and all other folders in stash are all in the same folder system. Since then I’ve figured out the error only happens when interacting with the exact file path name, so I’ve just excluded it from the overall picture filters and the system otherwise works as it should.
