Combining video info from different amateur sources?

I’m planning on submitting a new studio with a number of scenes, but I’m not sure how to handle multiple official sources. The studio has a ManyVids account where they initially release videos and a PornHub account where they release full videos a few months later.

The PornHub videos seem to be the same, just with the addition of the PornHub Community intro adding three seconds to duration. However, the ManyVids listings have more info, including full descriptions.

So, here are my questions:

  1. Should I submit the PH or ManyVids link when creating the studio?
  2. Since my copies have all been sourced from PH, should I submit them with PH as the source?
  3. Can I still include the ManyVids description, even if it doesn’t appear on the PH video?

You could probably create two scenes and add the re-release tag to whichever one came second.

Self-produced content is often released on multiple amateur platforms but each release does not require a separate entry on StashDB. Amateur scenes are organized by creator not by platform and scenes are the same way. Use the oldest known release date and whatever the “best” source appears to be for other fields like title, description, thumbnail, etc. There is no specific guidance on what is considered the “best” at this time, so just rely on your own judgment.
