Describe the feature you’d like:
A left or right arrow added under the performer profile photo to shift through photos added to the performer carousel. I believe this feature should come with an option to sort the carousel by photo rating and date added.
The feature could also include a random carousel display option, so each time the performer page is loaded a new photo is chosen. These photos can be added manually or linked from the performer images or images elsewhere in the DB, though I think it would probably be best design wise to select from images assigned to the performer.
Kind of similar to the topic discussed here, however this idea is for performers.
Describe the benefits this would bring to existing users
What makes stash great is its ability to keep things fresh for users who enjoy variety. I also think some performers have better photos or have photos that compete with others making it difficult with settling on just one. This solves that problem. It can also address users who use multiple performers under one performer.
Is there an existing way to achieve this goal?
As far as I am aware, no.
