I have a very similar problem.
I can locate my folder within the docker edit, it has a very nice drop-down and it is very easy to locate the folder.
However within the Stashapp settings it seems impossible to locate the folder, the drop-down
shows a completely different set of folders, I have tried typing in the location from the docker file but it gives folder not known.
Unraid is new to me I’ve come from QNAP.
The data path is remapped to /data
in my unraid template, in your screenshot you also have it looking at //mnt/...
, Try removing one of the /
or looking under /data
That worked, I don’t know how because I had tried every conceivable combination of paths! All the plugins work too.
Thank you.
I’m not sure if you can assist with my next big problem?
I want to migrate my full organised Stashapp from my QNAP Nas to my new machine.
I have followed all the guides but with out success. I really do not want to spend weeks and weeks organising again.
The most important question is what is your new machine and how are you running stashapp?
If it’s on docker than it should be as simple as copying everything over, otherwise might be a little complicated
my new machine is a home built PC pretty decent spec, running unRaid.
I can locate the stash instance in QNAP via WinSCP, unfortunately it doesn’t allow a direct connection to 2 remote machines. I would have to copy everything to my windows machine, then copy it all to my new NAS.
The Bottom line is all the generating has been carried out already so I won’t need to copy that over which is massive. It’s all the details for each scene and performers, e.g. performer images and their details, similarly the scenes, which have taken age because they are fairly rare and took a lot of research,
In my ideal world there would be a plugin in that would bundle everything into a .zip or similar file, that could then be imported on any machine.
Sorry for rambling.
There is Metadata export, but copy would probably be your best bet. Just make sure not to change too much and make sure the paths map to the same location on both sides
QNAP → Unraid is Linux → Linux so you shouldn’t run into any problems, just double check file paths and rescan and you’ll be good to go.
Oh and make sure to shut down stash before you start moving
Thanks for the info, I’ll let you know how I get on.
