Can I submit a scene that used to be available digitally but no longer is?

For example, SDMS-474 is a pretty legendary scene. It has been sold digitally by the studio on DMM, but it currently is not available for sale and the old listing page is now a 404.

I have a legally-purchased copy of the scene so I can submit an accurate fingerprint, and I have good quality metadata.

Am I able to submit it? What would I provide as the URL, the now-dead link?

Internet Archive is your friend here. Archive links are accepted.

Sadly Wayback Machine has not archived the link (年齢認証 - FANZA). I think maybe because DMM’s age gate requires signin?

Many age gated sites, even pornhub are archived. R18 is popular, is it there? R18 is generally accepted as a primary source if you get the right PPV scrape.

I don’t know how I would find out if it was on R18. Wayback Machine’s search capabilities are a bit limited.

Well, for me I put it in the search bar on R18 and it worked the first try. So I would say the search bar?

Oh. I thought you were talking about R18.com, which shut down in 2023. So I was trying to use Wayback Machine to search it. I didn’t know about R18.dev.
