StashDB doesn’t accept animated scenes made by independent creators. I don’t exactly understand reasons for that, but ok, I just want my collection tagged without doing it manually for every scene.
Is there any Stash-Box instance that does accept them? If not, how do you tag animations? Most of my collection comes from kemono and sometimes from danbooru. While danbooru has everything tagged, kemono usually doesn’t; also built-in danbooru tagger only seems to work on images.
PMV Stash accepts animation, but they are focued on remixed content, so probably not helpful in your case.
My guess would be finding the content on one of the boorus, many of them are covered well by scrapers like gelbooru-xpath (covers actually many of them, not just the namesake), and do a decent job of tagging (including creators). It’s going to be a lot of manual locating and matching URLs though.
I mainly use Hydrus Network for animated content available on boorus. It can handle the downloading along with the metadata, but it has also has the equivalent of StashDB - Public Tag Repository (PTR), which can provide tags for files based on their hashes.
