Technically right now it’s source-available as it’s missing the license to know how the code can be used. If/when license is added I will remove the proprietary tag.

Version 1.4 is now live on the App Store, bringing it back to feature parity with TestFlight.
The main changes were UI optimizations in Stashtok, and version 1.4.2 will likely bring these to the Galleries as well.
On a completely self-serving note: I’ve added a Tip Button. Feel free to use it to leave a tip (but only in the App Store version!).
Oh, and one more thing: The first tvOS version is also live. It’s definitely not finished yet, but it’s already somewhat usable. Because of this expansion, I’ve increased the price slightly to 4.99.

I saw you mentioned Vision Pro support in the future. I’d love to encourage (aka bribe) you to build an immersive player environment. The IMAX/movie theater player environments in Moon Player and CineUltra are incredible, but it hurts me to browse my media via SMB
I’ve been using the app now for about a week and I just have to say thank you. It’s almost everything I’ve be looking for in an app.
For me the best feature is gallery’s I have a large number of hentai and being able to just scroll as I read chefs’ kiss.
Only one real issue I have run into is. The performers page feels laggy on my iPhone 17 Pro Max I don’t know if this is something to do with the variable refresh rate of the screen or the fact that it’s trying to load 4000 performers on one page. And it would be nice if I had a Filter just for favourites
I like the idea of the StashTok but I’m somebody that likes to keep track of my watch history and that just messing with the data. It would be nice if you could show the previews that you get when you hover over a video on a browser (without counting as a play)
I don’t have an Apple TV But if that version is going to be anything like the app, I will be very tempted to get one

For some reason it’s stopped being able to play media off my server, do you know how I might be able to debug that? I can see the details for everything but when I try playing any thing I get a blank screen or error icon. I’ve deleted my server config and re-added it but no luck. It shows that it’s connected okay when I try hitting test connection.
It was working at one stage but a little while ago it’s stopped. I’ve left it for some time to see if it might right itself but no luck.
From your last screenshot I guess you trying to connect via https? Do you checked, whether you can connect via http? Maybe that helps?
Ah yes, that seems to have done it. I have the reverse proxy traefik in front of my stash instance with 2 routes for stash. On route that has auth via authentik and a zero trust login page, and one for programmatic access that allows any requests with the stash api key in the headers.
the fact that stashy can connect and fetch metadata but can’t play videos suggests it’s sending the set api key for some requests but not the requests for media. Could it be updated to include the key in all requests? Otherwise any stash instances that are accessible via the public internet would need to expose access to the media paths without any auth in order for them to be accessible for stashy which would obviously not be desirable.
