Howdy, y’all.
I’ve got a lot of files that have very little useful metadata and poor filenames/folder structure (shoutout to the guy who overwrites the original filenames with IMG_001_883_2__-BDRiP.NFO.S-c-E-N-e.m0nkus.SITERIP.TL.net.2160p.unc0mpress3d.ru.en.fr.nosubs.IMAGE before deleting all the metadata).
I’d like to at least split them into folders by studio, but it’s a slog going through all these looking for studios or models the way they’re currently stored; I’m lucky if I get three or four in a row.
After some quick Googling, all the OCR tools I’m seeing are for extracting text (like, as a .txt) from scanned/photographed documents and the like, not “normal” images that also have text in them.
Hoping someone’s got a good tip on an open-source, offline/local tool that would let me search my unsorted images for text-based watermarks.
I wanna type “nubiles.net” in a search bar and get a list of all my photos that have the nubiles.net watermark at the bottom. I’m sure that makes sense lol
Bonus points if I can get it to recognize less-obvious text, like stylized studio names or even just logos.
Thanks in advance!
