Hello. I’m wondering if there is a recommended method of automatically tagging scenes that have been interpolated or AI-enhanced (e.g. using TopazLabs software), or otherwise copy-pasting all tags, markers, performers, etc. from the original scene to the edited scene. Do y’all have any recommendations? Is there a plugin that can be used to easily transfer all tags from one scene to another?
Or, is it expected that the pHashes will be the same after interpolation/enhancement?
Stash will automatically merge multiple video files with the exact same OS file hash into the same scene entry. Of course, enhanced copies will not have the same file hash, and there are two ways I’m aware of to manually merge.
In scene view by clicking the checkbox on at least one of the scenes/videos in question, then clicking the ... menu (to the right of the red trash can) and selecting “Merge…”
The Dupe checker (available under “Tools” in the Stash settings) also has a Merge option for each scene found. It is expected that pHashes will be the same or at least close after this type of visual modification, so the dupe checker should be able to group them together.
